Manifesto - Labour First Out of the Blocks

So, we are just over three weeks away from the surprise general election and the Party manifestos are being produced this week. The first to be launched was Labour on the 16th May in Bradford. Of course, we have been eagerly awaiting the policy announcements here at the Sports Think Tank.

A General Election

The surprise announcement by Theresa May that a General Election will be held on 8th June has caught everybody by surprise. In a world of leaks to the media it makes a nice change to be caught out by the news.

Sport absent from Conference Season

We have been attending the Party Political conferences this autumn and have been struck by the lack of debate and profile for sport despite the glorious summer of Olympic and Paralympic success.
