Autumn Policy Season

What an amazing Summer of Sport we have just witnessed with unrivalled coverage of Women's Sport hitting the headlines for the right reasons.

Whilst the sport didn't stop policy focus shifted from Westminster, whilst MPs were on recess, to the delivery of the new #SportingFutures Strategy through Sport England. We really welcome feedback from the sector on the impact of the implementation and delivery phase of the Strategy.

Europe and Sport Policy

It has been a long and often acrimonious European Referendum campaign which thankfully comes to an end on Thursday. The ramifications of the vote however will last a lot longer whatever the result.

Throughout most of the campaign sport has not really played a huge part and it hardly likely that many people will be making a decision on Thursday 23rd June based on the outcome for sport alone.

As an Independent Think Tank we have tried to stimulate a little thinking around the big ticket issues.

Sport and the EU

As the EU Referendum campaign formally kicks off in the UK today we will be looking at the issue from a sport perspective over the coming few weeks. Today we kick off with our first blog from one of our guest bloggers outlining some of the potential issues that may arise, but as always we need to hear from you.
