BBC Announces 3D Olympic Coverage

The technological revolution and the way we watch sport on TV will extend to London 2012 it was announced yesterday by the BBC.
The only event to be shown live in 3D will be the 100m final, but both the opening & closing ceremonies as well as nightly highlights will be shown in the new format.
3D Broadcasting will be available to anyone with access to a 3D TV set and HD channels, no matter which digital provider they use.
The first time the BBC broadcast in 3D was the Men's and Ladies' Wimbledon final in 2011.
