Economist Intelligence Unit Produces London 2012 Legacy Report

The Economist has produced a report about the Legacy of the 2012 Games which is available for download.

The Economist claims

"The London Olympics proved a compelling spectacle and have been popularly judged a smashing success. It may be many years, however, before the real verdict is in. Based on our knowledge of previous Olympiads, what is the likelihood that the London games, or those hosted by Rio de Janeiro in 2016, will deliver long-lasting economic, social or other benefits to their hosts?

To complement the webinar discussion held in July 2012, the Economist Intelligence Unit has brought together, in an interactive digital report, the views of prominent experts on the Olympic impact as well as those of business people in Beijing, London and Rio.
