The Government has published the new draft curriculum for all subjects from Key Stages 1 to 4 including Physical Education.

The National Curriculum is compulsory for all maintained schools but only serves as guidance to Academies and Free Schools.

The slimmed-down document sets out what results are expected throughout primary and secondary school, and will allow for greater freedom in teaching.

The department is seeking views from all stakeholders in response to its draft programme of study, so whether you want to give the government an A* or D-, visit the Department for Education website.
