Tanni Receives Sport and Recreation Alliance Award

We are delighted that the Sports Think Tank's very own patron, Baroness Tanni Grey-Thompson, has been awarded the Sport and Recreation Alliance's prestigious Arthur Bell Trophy yesterday at St James's Palace, London. The award is presented by the SRA each year to an individual or organisation who has made an outstanding contribution to the development of community sport. Speaking about the award, Tanni said 'Sport is amazing and it's been an honour to have been involved in it – both as an athlete and in the work that I do now. Sport is like a family – it's about making a difference to the next generation – and that's what sport can do.'The Sports Think Tank would like to congratulate Tanni on this wonderful achievement and her continuous support for community sport.
