Think Tank Urges Submissions to Consultation

The Sports Think Tank is urging all parts of the sports landscape to respond the DCMS Strategy for Sport Consultation taking place over the Summer.

Chair Andy Reed said "Whilst we know August is a difficult month to organise events and consultations we now hope that all parts of the sports landscape will use these last few weeks to make sure DCMS hear our views. We are working closely with policy makers and we know they are genuinely interested in new and disruptive thinking. It is a great opportunity to show government we get the current problems and have some solutions"

"Our own research across the sector showed there is an appetite for fresh thinking and new players to help deliver. Our own experience here at the Sports Think Tank shows that there is a need for greater collaboration across the landscape as too many organisations think in their silos. We are here to join up as many of those parts as possible - encouraging NGBs, Businesses, charities, brands, Foundations and landscape partners to co-operate in the safe space we can create for fresh thinking."
