Lord Moynihan the Chair of the BOA announced he was to step down a year ahead of his end of his formal term of office finishes.

British Olympic Association (BOA) Chairman Colin Moynihan today made the below announcement in a letter to the BOA Board, the National Olympic Committee and the BOA Advisory Board.

ChIrman of the BOA Lord Moyhnihan has claimed that it is unacceptable that so many of Team GB medalists are from Independent schools. He claims that 50% of those winning medals come from private schools who only make up 7% of the school population.
