Sports Think Tank work ready to help parties develop ideas and deliverable policies.
"The Sports Think Tank has existed since 2010 for these moments" said Andy Reed
Over the last 15 years we have been able to create a space that has a focus on policy development and the interaction of evidence, innovation and a deep understanding of how government works.
We have never been a 'lobby' for the wider sector, indeed we have to be a critical friend when highlighting failures as well as success. But where the evidence shows how government can work in partnership with the widest group of stakeholders across sport, physical activity and wellbeing we will be there to help!
"Whilst the general election caught many by surprise - including us- we had already spent last year preparing for an election in 2024. The publication of our #STT2024Manifesto project meant we were in a good place when the parties were looking for evidence and ideas after Christmas. We are pleased to see many of the Chapters and ideas picked up in Manifesto thinking inside the parties.
"All too often the lobbying concentrates on the wrong things. We hope we can help with the interaction with policy makers around the so what do you want us to actually do..."
