The government announced details of its proposed Energy Discount Scheme (EBDS) for 2023/24 yesterday and the 'sector' responded with disappointment at the lack of help for the sector despite the identified need.

"We, and other sector partners, are seriously concerned at the omission of sport and leisure from the list of sectors which will be eligible for additional support" Said the SRA for example.
